Damn, some tenants really do know how to pick their time to want to up and leave!
I'll have to talk to him!
Guess I'll end up staying at the Venice beach Hostel when I'm in LA, Hostel Callifornia sounds good too but the free airport pickup is a real bonus.
Ofcours I forgot to go and check out that 'Café Petrol" place, maybe this friday!

Allé, weeral iets dichter bij vertrek, ben naar Tropisch instituut geweest (2 spuiten en een hoop voorschriftjes gekregen) en morgen ga ik nieuwe steunzolen en een bril halen (waarmee ik hopelijk wel de kaart zal kunnen lezen). Ben benieuwd hoe ik mensen een invitatie kan sturen om dit blog te lezen, als dat niet mogelijk is gaat moeder het nooit vinden denk ik.
De DAN verzekering heb ik nog niet, die domme website wil mijn e-mail adres niet aan nemen; zal eens met een ander adres proberen.

God it's cold here !!!
Yesterday I went to a wedding-reception, it's a bit like a funeral-reception, i.e. the people affected line up at the entrance of the room and shake hands and exchange niceties withe the arriving guests; quite a few of which they have never met before. One just has to substitute the "congratulations" with "condolences" (even starts the same way) and there you are.
Must be extremely awkward standing there hours on end.
The little nibbles that kept arriving, and the booze was nice enough though.

The news about Peggy's neck could have been worse I guess, I just hope she takes the prescribed REST seriously; a thing hard to do when seven children need your attention.

The idea of organizing a "goodbye drink" or better a "see you later drink" , seems like a fun thing to do , I'm not sure about the date yet but that large cafe near the river with if I remember correctly, a rather tropical atmosphere, I think it's called "Petrol", seems like an appropriate place + there's ample parking space. I'll go and check it out somewhere this week, maybe saturday, when we change to witer time :-)

Good grief, am I glad that Visa business is finished! I realy thought I'd have to buy another ticket.What worries me now are the results od Peggy's MRI and wether the ground floor appartment will be completely in order by the time I leave. Tomorrow we'll know about the MRI. BRRR !
