Well I've been back home for a month now which isn't much fun ! Today was good though, I didn't know I had the day off until yesterday evening, which was a nice surprise ! This morning I went to check out the summer sales in town and bought a pair of GEOX sandals which are supposed to let your feet breath and in doing so shouldn't get all smelly like my last pair did, admittedly, I'd worn them nearly every day for about 6 months but still they stank to high heaven and then some ! I also got a nice T-shirt but nothing to get excited about. I went into the eye doctor's place ( can't think of the proper name for the moment) and made an appointment for measurements to have the laser operation on my eyes done. Am a bit woried because the lady said Dr Zen operates on both eyes in one day, making it a sort of all or nothing situation, if she'd first do my worst eye and it didn't turn out all right then I'd still have one half decent eye left at least. I'll have to ask her about that on the 19th o August. In the afternoon we went fo a nice walk on the other side of the Schelde. Played with Rebbe or hours throwing his frizbee around. That's about all I guess, not bad for one day!
Bye for now !

Well, thats all the pictures from this trip I think, I went to Colon and Porto Bello after the last entry and then returned to Panama City from where I took an overnight bus to San Jose in Costa Rica. Just across the border, in Buenos Aires, the bus stopped for breakfast. That's where three tugs stole my daypack with all my valuable stuff in it, being my camera complete with its under water case, binoculars and flashlight, all E-mail addresses from people I'd met but hadn't written to yet and my toothbrush, toothpaste and much cherished bottle of plax. So I don't have any more pictures from after I made the last cd in Santiago, Panama. After filing a complaint, Ryan and me continued on to Alahuela, which, besides being right next door to the airport isn't all that interesting. One of the days I spent there I watched all three Lord of the Rings movies, complete with commercials and all. The streets were very dangerous forwalking around at night drunk, not because of the people but because of the probably 2 feet wide and deep ditches at their sides, wonce it started raining for serious we quickly found out why they were there though! In less than an hour those seemingly immence ditches were overflowing with water which wood probably have been inside the houses if it weren't for those ditches. Ditches ditches ditches! When I got to Los Angeles I went out and bought myself a new camera, an I Pod and a laptop to make up for the stolen stuff (luckily the day the daypack got stolen my money belt with my cash, credit cards nd passport with USA visa was hanging around my neck, where it' supposed to be, and not sitting in the daypack where you're less likely to get it all sweaty and stinky).
So anyway, back in Belgium now where it also rains but less torrentially nd today was my first day back at work, not much has changed in 6 months, the amount of people sick has rissen so I guess they were happy to see me although I still feel somewhat jet-lagged and slow.
Although the last days of my trip were a bit boring I'm already looking forward to the next one! Not sure as to where it'll take me but I think I;d like to take my dog along this time. Bye for now, Theo.
